Allen Trieu crystal balls Logan Brown to Wisconsin

Submitted by Maizen on

Going to lose Ekiyor, likely going to lose Dobbs, and now this. No idea what our two OL coaches are doing but it sure seems like recruiting well isn't one of them. Given how this year has played out thus far at this point in the season I just want to see two things, get better every week and recruit like gangbusters. Long way to go but this isn't good.

"journalist" (using the term loosely) prognostication about a 2019 OT that we are still almost sure to get anyway, and will be fine with or without?

That would make him stupider than I thought.... and I already thought he was pretty stupid...

Harbaugh did wth an Oline at Stanford I trust that we will get good recruits to be elite o lineman. I know it sucks that we're not getting who, and what we want immediately, but such is life.

only problem with this is that I don't know if the iron will be ever be hotter than it was after a pretty sudden resurgence in the program the last two years.  I am not sure there is going to be a better window of opportunity than the last two years to bring a lot of these guys on board.  I would have to imagine that this year has not done a world of good for o-line recruiting.  Ruiz and Filigia and both in redshirt years though, and Newsome is still a good possibility.

Has there been any news related to Newsome lately?  I saw a video from about three or four months ago where is was running but haven't heard anything lately.

I think it's pretty obvious you and that other handle are the same person. There is a glaring similarity.

Why would ijohnb create a new account after 8 years and 45,000 points?   So he could make a "Harbaugh seems different" thread?  If that were the case, and he got blasted for it like he did, why would he even continue as Inman?  Wouldn't you just leave that tire fire and the bad-idea new account behind and return to ijohnb unscathed?  You certainly wouldn't go back to your main account and post a dozen times supporting your shit thread and have discussions with yourself on your main account - the whole reason you would have started a second account in the first place is to post your nuggets of wisdom without soiling your ijohnb rep, right?!

I don't see a notable similarity in writing style.  It makes no sense that such a regular member would make this up (unless it was out of absolute boredom).  And Inman reacted to his points-beating the way a new guy would.  Anybody who's seen this place in action for 8 years would probably just walk away and come back fresh a day or two later.  But Inman was back in a later thread complaining about his treatment.  That's noob stuff and not the actions of a vet like ijohnb.

Your theory makes no logical sense. I find the defendents not guilty.

As for my feelings on the actual topic of Trieu's CB for Logan Brown - I don't care.

not Inman, and for as much as don't hate him like a lot of the trolls do, I kind of wish he would stop posting things like right after me because we are not the same person but he is even kind of starting to confuse me a little bit on the issue.

People are stupid. We are not the same person. People need to grow up. Sorry for any confusion.

Inman was Maizen. For as much as Maizen claims not to care about points, he still needs to stay above 100 so he can start these threads and downvote everyone who disagrees with him.

Dafuq???  So what you're saying is that Michigan will never again be as good as it was the last two years.  That no top recruit will ever look at Michigan again, because this team is 5-2 with a less than spectacular offense.

You, Maizen, and your brother Inman need to speak with your doctors about upping the dosage of Zoloft you need to be eating...

and many other people on this board, have now reached a place in your life where you are "internet bullies."  Think about that for a second - that is where you stand.  You are an "internet-bully."  Your life is so out of balance that Michigan losing two games this season has so affected your existence that it has turned you into the kind of person that searches through comment sections of various websites to start anonynous fights with people and insult people you don't know.  That is who you are.  That is you.  An anonymous internet tough guy.  Congrats.

should have guessed that.

Seriously though, this place is Full M-Live now.  I don't even think a lot of these people like Michigan, it is just in their rotation of sites they troll.  I have seen a lot of the regulars bail too, there are a lot of good posters that I haven't seen on here in a while.  I hope a lot of these clowns jump ship when the new site comes up because this is not MGoBlog anymore.

Good job John. It's good to get your feelings out. You go and have a good cry and come back here a stronger & more stable John.

Man, you are pro-level trolling here. You just edited this post from one responding as ijohnb. Thus, you make it look like you're pretending not to be ijohnb. I really hope you did this on purpose on the off chance someone noticed.

Then why did you edit the post responding to BobGarage as if you were ijohnb? I assume you're not ijohnb, and was hoping that your post edit was a clever joke that you hoped someone would notice. If it was not a joke, then I don't understand unless you actually are ijohnb and it was a real mistake.

may be that Inman is actually long-game trolling me and I haven't figured it out yet.  Yesterday, he posted a poorly recieved "is Harbaugh different this year" type deal and I decided to engage him in the question instead of going "are you serious dude?!? delete this garbage! IBD!! What a joke."

Because I engaged him in his topic, some clever posters decided it was just way too hilarious not to joke about how we were actually the same person.  These posters thought that the concept was very, very funny and that it had to be the first time that anybody had ever thought of making that joke and were very proud of themselves.

I'm not him.  He is not me.  It is possible that he is trolling me, but he does not seem that sophisticated.

Really? How often do internet bullies tell people to be more positive and that things are actually pretty good right now? If you wouldn't throw out such negativity and insults towards the staff/school, I suspect you wouldn't be getting "bullied"

ijohnb

this is not about me.  On Monday morning, I posted the most positive OP about this football team and program that has been on this site all week.  A full fledged fan post trying to convince other people that this season isn't over and to stay on board.  I think people on here are being ridiculous with sky is falling rhetoric.  I don't post like that, never have.  It is possible to post something that contains a negative observation and still be positive about the program.  This is about like half of the people on this site bringing their shit on to this Board because they have ran out of people to fight with about politics on Facebook.

And I don't care about people saying shit to me, I've been here a while.  If these clowns want to talk a bunch of shit about me to feel better, have at it.  It is the quality of the Board that is at issue.  Hot takey OPs are fine, they have always been here and will decrease once Michigan wins.  They used to get clowned in good fun, but it is the really ugly nature of some of the stuff that people are posting in response to them that is the real problem.

LOL!!  Says the internet tough guy that's been taking on everyone that disagrees with his posts all week.  Feel free to search through my posting history here if you really think I pick fights with people (just click on my name).  But I swear, you three have been out of control with the feelings and hawt takes this week.

So serious question for you - do you really think there will be no better time ever, in the history of UM football, to recruit, than now?  I mean, c'mon, don't you think that's a little dramtic?  Those are your words, BTW...

'Crootin is a long-term relationships biz and the '19 kids will be the first to have had Harbaugh at Michigan for their entire high school career.

First recruiting class bombs, can't pick anyone up fresh out of the NFL, but it's ok, he only had a month to recruit.

Next year will be better, since he'll have had a whole year to recruit...Devery Henderson flips to Stanford, don't get a single OT to commit despite gaping hole at the position.

It's ok, next year we'll have been recruiting these guys for two years...Kai-Leon Herbert flips, Isaiah Wilson pulls a 180, can't reel in Banks, Leatherwood, Wills, despite offering a near certain starting job for any 5-star that wants it.

Sigh, ok, by 2019 these guys will have been recruited for four years! Their entire HS careers.  We'll get some five stars, someday!

No? Ok, how about by 2032 when their whole lives have seen the great Harbaugh at Michigan.

I'm being completely tongue-in-cheek here.  I think we're recruiting fine.  I am surprised and a bit disappointed that given Harbaugh's track record and pedigree, we haven't been able to reel in any 5 star OL and only 3 total 5-stars in 2.75 cycles, but I think we've plateau'd until we can show more on the field.  And that plateau is fine.  Top 15ish classes when they're small, top 8ish classes when they're large.  Clemson won a natty with that kind of recruiting.  Others have won conference titles with a lot worse.

Really cared about points I would just create a new account, Say things you want me to say, so you would drop to your knees and upvote me everytime I comment. I'm not here for points. I'm here to discuss Michigan football with people who have the same interest. If people wanna neg me for no reason... so be it.

Wait, you mean you don't care about fake life points assigned to an anonymous screen name in the comments section of a sports blog? Weird, it's almost like there's this great big world out there that's not in front of your keyboard. Too bad the mgoidiots here will never experience it. Don't let some of these fucking dorks bother you, I don't.
