Advice for buying tickets for Saturday

Submitted by taistreetsmyhero on

Curious to hear about experiences of people who went today. Prices on Stubhub aren't too bad right now. Should I wait until after the Gonzaga/FSU game to buy? Were will call lines super long at Staples Center?

but I compared the seats at halftime today vs. last night, and they had dropped dramatically by comparison. Less than $50 will get you in the door last time I checked. I suspect a few Texans were dumping at halftime :)

I decided to nab a really great suite seat right at about midcourt for $99 plus fees, but I'm sure I could have been more patient and gotten an even better deal when the fans of Gonaza-FSU loser start dumping their second game tix.

Wait for this FSU-Gonzaga game to end.  If the Zags lose there will be a lot of available tickets.  Their fans really travel.

Different venue but when Michigan played Florida in the Elite 8 in Dallas, I paid $16 for two awesome tickets. It cost more to park than to watch the game. Also if you are around LA, the fans of the losing team in the late game will be giving away tickets.

This is actually a really good idea. Losing fans are in a rotten mood and want to just offload the tickets and get out of town, not have to think about them. You also save yourself the cost of the reseller. See if you can identify the blob of people leaving from the nicer seats. Offer them $20 for their seats tomorrow. You might get a hit.

Any folks with tickets to both sessions know if Michigan will have the same sections allocated on a Saturday? They were the “Home” team today. Looking to buy for Saturday and want to make sure there is no change. Normally I would say yes because they remain the higher seed, but currently FSU is the acting “home” team.
